ZINJIBAR, Yemen (UPI) -- Military officials said 230 soldiers and 30 al-Qaida members were killed during three months of battles to drive the militants out of two Yemeni cities.

Pipeline fire kills at least 100 in Kenya

NAIROBI, Kenya (UPI) -- A pipeline near a Kenya Pipeline Co. depot in Nairobi caught fire Monday, killing at least 100 people and injuring dozens, officials said.
